Expressing disagreement with Souday, saying that, after all it took to kick the Germans out, he cannot remain complacent and watch the French help them sneak back in, that, after all that has happened, the French feast on works as quintessentially German as those of Schumann and Wagner, adding that the issue can be summarized as: "La France d'abord, la Musique après."
